By the end of this lecture the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the physiology of female sexual response
  • List at least 4 female sexual pain diagnoses and understand why they are associated with female sexual dysfunction
  • Differentiate key subjective reports related to at least 4 female sexual pain diagnoses
  • Correlate specific objective findings with patient history in order to improve development of patient plan of care.
  • Apply at least 5 treatment strategies for each diagnosis
  • Identify at least 4 members of a multidisciplinary team to treat female sexual pain disorders
  • Develop skills for manual assessment and treatment
  • Implement a program for female sexual pain disorders
