by | Jan 8, 2025

Nataly Movsesyan (she/her) is nearing completion of her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Azusa Pacific University and is completing her final clinical experience here at Femina Physical Therapy prior to graduating in December. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge.Throughout her doctoral education, Nataly has completed clinical rotations in a variety of physical therapy settings, further developing her skills in patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.

Nataly is passionate about expanding her knowledge of the human body and developing her skills in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. She is committed to advancing her education beyond general orthopedic physical therapy to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care. She has completed the Pelvic Function Level 1 course through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, where she gained a strong foundation in pelvic floor anatomy, function, and evidence-informed treatment approaches.

She believes in treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on one area of the body. She values a holistic, patient-centered approach and is committed to educating and empowering individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey through evidence-based practice. Her goal is to help patients build confidence in their bodies, regain function, and return to the activities that are meaningful to them. She strives to build trusting relationships through personalized care, recognizing that every person’s experiences, goals, and needs are unique.

Outside of the clinic, Nataly enjoys Pilates, going on walks, playing racquet sports such as badminton and tennis, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops and restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie and coffee enthusiast.

Nataly is bilingual and fluent in both English and Armenian.

In Heather’s own words:

I thought it’s finally time to share one of my post-op recovery secrets — I’ve been loving that supported life in my @srchealth compression leggings since my hip labral repair surgery last October. When I wear them, my chronic left SI joint hurts less and my legs feel like they’re being micro-massaged all day long!
