Iris (she/her/hers) works as a part-time Rehabilitation Assistant and Social Media Coordinator. Iris earned her Bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley in 2020 and studied Political Science and Global Public Health. She got her first glimpse into pelvic health in 2018 when she was a patient of pelvic floor physical therapy. Her passion for biomechanics and rehabilitation only grew as she became more involved in research with the UC Berkeley/UC San Francisco Ergonomics Laboratory.
Iris is currently a physical therapy student at the University of Southern California and hopes to become as compassionate of a practitioner as the ones she currently works with. She recently began her journey as a future pelvic health physical therapist by taking her first APTA Pelvic Health course in July 2023. Along with pelvic health, she also has experience in outpatient orthopedic clinical settings. She enjoys baking, painting, and playing with her puppy Scottie when she is not busy with school.
